Baseball pitcher with glove and ball

To celebrate opening day of the 2021 Major League Baseball season and to have a little fun despite the distance of virtual learning, Bret Lashner, MD, Professor of Medicine, encouraged his second-year “kids” to wear any baseball gear they might have to class.

Pictured are some students of the Class of 2024 as well as Charles Tannenbaum, PhD, Assistant Professor of Molecular Medicine (top row, left).

Dr. Lashner (top row, third from the left) and Christina Lindenmeyer, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine (not pictured), co-direct the Gastroenterology Systems 1 and 2 Courses for the Lerner College of Medicine.
